Program Overview:
Join us for a thrilling VEX IQ Robotics Introduction (10 week) workshop designed to ignite your passion for engineering and programming. This workshop is foundational and non - competitive. In this hands-on experience, you'll learn to:
Design and Build: Learn engineering concepts, start with simple machines and explore creativity in building.
Code and Program: Bring your robots to life with intuitive coding techniques.
Collaborate and Create: Work in teams to solve the exciting mini game challenges.
Competition Readiness: Teams will get a grasp of Game Manual, Driving Skills, Autonomous Coding Skills.
This workshop is perfect for elementary and middle schoolers eager to explore the exciting world of VEX robotics. In a safe and supportive environment, you'll gain valuable skills and have a blast! We will track student enthusiasm, creativity, commitment, and evaluate competition readiness throughout the workshop and recommend VEX tournament pathway to parents.
What to expect:
VEX IQ Hardware: Master the components of the VEX IQ system, including motors, sensors, and controllers.
Robot Design and Construction: Build a sturdy and efficient BASE Bot driving base to navigate the game field.
Advanced Programming: Learn to write complex programs using VEXcode IQ to control your robot's movements and actions.
Strategic Thinking: Develop effective strategies to score points
Teamwork and Collaboration: Work together with your team-mates to brainstorm ideas, solve problems, and refine your robot's design.
Friendly Scrimmage Tournaments: Put your robot's skills to the test in exciting competitions against other teams.
