Join us for a VEX V5 Robotics Introduction (10 week) workshop designed to ignite your passion for engineering and programming. This workshop is foundational and may culminate in a tournament. In this hands-on experience, you'll learn to:

Comprehensive Equipment Access, Design and Build:
VEX V5 Starter Competition Kit.
12x12 Field Kit, Tiles & Field Perimeter.
Miscellaneous parts (sensors, motors, high-strength sprocket & chain kit, controller, etc.)
2025-26 Game Kit.
Expert, milestone-based, immersive coaching focused on:
Independent robot driving base design, construction and programming.
Comprehensive understanding of game rules, scoring, developing effective strategies.
Autonomous and controller-driven gameplay.
Work in teams and collaborate to brainstorm ideas, solve problems, and refine your robot's design
Practical Experience:
Team field trip to observe a season tournament
Friendly scrimmage tournaments to put your robot's skills to the test in exciting competitions against other teams.
We will track student enthusiasm, creativity, commitment, and evaluate competition readiness throughout the workshop and recommend VEX tournament pathway to parents.
Workshop Details:
Class dates: Dec 5, 12; Jan 9, 16, 23, 30; Feb 6 , 20. Followed by Scrimmage /Tournament
Team will be welcome to take home the robot for practice and re-design during the winter/holiday breaks.
Time: Friday, 6:00pm - 7:00pm (Batch full as of 12-05-25)
